Chapter 377
23 February 2006
Our chapter has had a good and interesting year so far. We have lost some members for various reasons and we have gained some. We have had some fun campouts. We had 5 units attend the annual Caravan Rally in July in VA. Our chapter, thanks to our sponsor’s support, was able to contribute $500.00 again this year to the Muscular Dystrophy Labor Day Telethon. In August the campout was at KOA RV Park in Forsyth. It was miserably hot. Nine members units and one visitor were present. The Pollards were the wagon masters. Friday evening Barbara served wraps, -some went out for dinner, others ate in. There was a nice clubhouse and a swimming pool for some to enjoy. On Saturday evening everyone traveled up I-75 to Buckner’s for dinner. Their food is so good. After our return a meeting was held and officers for the coming year were elected. Dale had a fun game for everyone to play and then some stayed and played bingo. On Sunday after breakfast Al Jenkins gave devotion. Good byes were said and everyone prepared for their trip home.
