Greetings Coachmen Campers...

Well it is news time again and thanks to several people, I think I have enough together to write a news letter. James and I did not attend the camp out at White Water this month, we went to the mountains. They had our semi-annual meeting at Mountain Lakes a different weekend than usual, so we missed the Coachmen campout again.

I heard everyone really had a good time at White Water on the 12th and 13th of October. Seven member units attended and two visiting units. The visitors were Ricky and Wynelle Hicks from Lizella and Buddy Jessup and Edna from Byron. There were also two guests, Tim Gaines and Scooter Wright.

Birthdays for the month of November are Ruben Parden (13 Nov), and Kathleen Baxley (19 Nov). Happy Birthday to both of you and we wish you many more.

To report on the White Water Campout - On Friday night you were on your own. Some went out to eat, others ate in their units. I heard it was a nice weekend for camping weather-wise and that the grandchildren attending had a great time. On Saturday morning the usual big breakfast was cooked and enjoyed by all. Then you were on your own until the evening meal. Some went shopping while others just chilled out and visited. The Wright Boys (Scooter, Ronald & Donald) cooked ribs and chicken for the group and I asssure you they were wonderful. A special thanks go out to Tim Gaines who supplied the chicken. I'm sure everyone was well fed. This Club has some good cooks and most of us love to eat. Ha! Ha!

Sunday morning after breakfast the devotion was held and after clean up it was time to say goodbyes and get ready for the return trip home. A thanks go to Glenda & Robert Knighton and Faye & Ernie Wright for being the Wagon Masters and doing a fine job once again. We're glad Kathleen Baxley is doing better and
able to camp again. Russ and Melinda Temple remain in our prayers. We miss them.

The November camp out is our Thanksgiving camp out and will be at Fair Harbor in Perry, Ga. on the 16th and 17th. The Baxleys are the Wagon Masters. Please call the Park and make your reservations ASAP. Their telephone # is 877-988-8844. Tell the camp ground you are with the Peach State Coachmen Club when you call.

On Friday night you will be on your own. The following list was made for the Thanksgiving meal for Saturday night: If you did not make the list (not to worry) review the list and bring whatever you like to compliment the meal.

Faye Wright - Chicken-n-dressing
Kathleen Baxley - Broccoli casserole
Shirlely Odom - Hash brown casserole
Linda Gaines - Sweet potato casserole
Glenda Knighton - Fried turkey and dessert
Dale White - Peas and corn bread
Wynelle Hicks - Lima beans
Melba Wallace - Turnips & cornbread
Edna Williams - Green beans & rolls

Makes you hungry just to read the menu - don't it. We are looking forward to the campout and seeing everyone again.
When: November 16th & 17th
Where: Fair Harbor R.V. Park - Perry, Ga.
Directions to Fair Harbor: From I-75 take exit 135, go west 1/10 mile, the Park is on the right.
Wishing you all safe travels and good health. See you at Fair Harbor in November.
